SCHOLARSHIP DONOR
WALL OF HONOR

RECOGNIZING OUR PARTNERS:
The backbone of our Scholarship Program
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Since 1999, the Woodland Hills Foundation has awarded more than $160,000 to deserving students in the Woodland Hills School District.
In 2021, the Foundation announced the launch of the Alumni Scholarship Fund, which will annually award one student with a $1,000 scholarship, funded solely by Woodland Hills Alumni.
In 2025, the Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Donor Wall of Honor which honors those donors who have established scholarships or who have made gifts solely for the purpose of creating an Endowed Woodland Hills Scholarship Fund, which will ensure that scholarships will be offered in perpetuity. Thank you to these donors, who have kick-started our efforts to reach our $50,000 goal.

Thomas and Maria McCool established the Julia Anne McCool Memorial Scholarship for the Arts and Humanities in 2008 with an initial donation of $50,000.
The proud parents of two Woodland Hills alumni, Rachel (2003) and Timothy (2006), they wanted to provide the means and encouragement for the multi-talented graduates of Woody High to continue their education in these fields.
There was another reason for this donation to the Foundation. They hoped to inspire other parents and community members to donate to the Foundation and perhaps establish their own scholarships. As the list of scholarships offered by the Foundation has grown through the years, the McCool’s have seen their wish actualized.

We are excited to continue to support the Woodland Hills school district and public education through the Woodland Hills Foundation. Public education provides an equal opportunity for all students to learn and develop in our complex and integrated society. With ever changing laws and regulations, support is more vital now than ever.
Investing at the local level is impactful, tangible, and rewarding.
The WHF is a great asset to our district, benefitting families, as well as the students. Their support is not only educational: Through programs such as the Dream Book, sensory rooms have been created providing emotional support; Backpacks of Hope seeks to alleviate hunger to deserving families; and with many scholarships, financial help is there for qualifying students seeking to further their education.
We are proud to be a participant in these worthwhile missions, and invite you to join us.

When the Woodland Hills Foundation announced the Alumni Scholarship Fund, I knew I wanted to be a part of it. In fact, I made a monthly recurring donation so that it would have the biggest possible impact! I know that 100% of my donation will go directly towards funding scholarships for students in Woodland Hills and I am so happy to be able to give back to the school that embraced and supported me during my high school years. I hope you remember that same open-armed support system too. That’s why I am asking you—many of whom walked these same halls or have children that do—to join me in helping the Foundation reach its goal. The money raised directly supports students right here in Woodland Hills. They're counting on us to help reach their $50,000 goal. I hope you’ll join me in demonstrating to every student, every teacher, ever coach and staff member, that your time in Woodland Hills made a difference in your life. And that today, their success matters to you.
