Hohn’s Helping Hands Hygiene Closets provide Woodland Hills students with new and unused toiletries. It is our mission to help students feel good about themselves on the inside and out! Good Hygiene is essential to building self-esteem and our closets provide a safe, judgement-free space for students to receive toiletry essentials that many may not have access to otherwise.
Amy Hohn was a Woodland Hills teacher, a resident, and a parent of a Woodland Hills graduate. Her giving heart led her to source backpacks, school supplies, clothes, and hygiene supplies for students in need in WHSD and often would deliver these items to students’ homes. Sadly, Amy passed away in January of 2021. In order to carry on her legacy, teachers and staff are collecting items for the Hohn’s Hygeine Closets, to provide toiletry essentials to students in need. The Woodland Hills Foundation is proud to support the efforts of the Hohn’s Helping Hands Team by assisting in the marketing of the program and collecting donations on behalf of the program.
